Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) by National Office for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (NEP) organized “Regional Workshop on Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Towards Sustainable Social Protection” from 1 – 5 February 2015 in Pattaya, Thailand. The workshop aims to exchange knowledge and experiences on reporting process of UNCRPD, as well as to be an opportunity for ASEAN member states to exchange among their groups regarding sustainable social protection particularly article in UNCRPD naming; women with disabilities,  equality and non-discrimination, freedom from exploitation and abuse, independent living, social participation and education This workshop composed of delegates from ASEAN member states which are representatives from governments and DPOs.
